Aulani is one of our favorite spots on earth to vacation! From the lush green paths to the artistic details we love to sit back, relax, and enjoy this Hawaiian paradise. Aulani is located in the resort area known as Ko’Olina on the island of Oahu. This area includes several time share resorts, another hotel, restaurants, golf, and basically everything a traveler would need.
Getting to Aulani you will arrive at Honolulu airport (HNL) and while you can rent a car… we recommend (as does Aulani) taking a cab with Charley’s. They offer flat rates to/from the resort, and are always quick to help us. The drivers have always been polite to us, and answered any questions we might have.
Aulani is a DVC resort which means there are a number of studios & villas available in addition to standard hotel rooms. This also means you can use points (if a Disney Vacation Club member) or rent points from a member for your stay.
